History

 

Founded in 1992 Convergas was the pioneer in the use of natural gas in automotive vehicles. Since the beginning of activities the company always offered products and services with the most strictest standards of security and quality in accordance with the technical requirements set by public and private entities .

 

In 1997 , in partnership with Silex Trading, to meet the contract with Volkswagen do Brazil , deployed in the town of Vinhedo – SP the 1st assembly line dedicated to the installation of CNG systems in new vehicles (0 km ) . Since 2007 ,  Convergas have been  focusing its activities for the development of CNG storage fuel systems for application in heavy vehicles and equipment .

With more than $ 5 million in investments in the developiment of new technologies and the training of skilled labor,  Convergas delivered thousands of systems, installed in light and heavy vehicles , becoming the first company in its industry to obtain ISO 9001 certification .

 

Currently the company has numerous projects with automakers(OEM), fleet operators, fuel distributors, energy plants managers, and many others, with extensive line of products aplied in buses, trucks, off road equipment, and cane harvesters, always using components with conformit certification required by INMETRO.

 

Reconized by the market as a reference in the supply and development of CNG storage fuel systems, Convergas has been promoting a sustentable mobility future.
